Desi Holiday Eating

I speak to Maryam @pakistaneats and I chat about about our desi family holidays and the food we ate. Maryam shares her original recipe for Chapli Kabab, reminiscent of her trips to Swat, Pakistan. She speaks about the distinct blend of spices, including anardanna (crushed pomegranate seeds) and whole toasted coriander seeds. I share my family recipe of Aloo Keema wrapped in a homemade paratha. Swaddled in foil and eaten at the chilly British seaside is the traditional beach snack for so many Indians and Pakistanis in the UK.
