How to make the perfect Rice
Follow my instructions to make the perfect boiled basmati rice.
There is a whole range of rice in the market. The most commonly used in Asian cooking is basmati or sela.
Sela rice is less starchy so does not stick, basmati rice is more fragrant.
Both varieties are used in savoury Pakistani cooking, especially for making Biryani and Pulao.
Tota (broken) and short grain sticky rice are often used to make deserts as its cheaper and, sticky rice has higher starch content.
